Off the Grid in Northern California

cabin-close-up

Somewhere along the Northern Californian Coast lives a community lost from the connected world. An hour and a half from the nearest grocery store and 3 miles from the beach. Bedrock’s Resident Vagabond, Dan Opz, visits this hamlet  (unincorporated village or town) often on trips up and down the west coast.

The geology in this area is so weak and erosive that roads constantly slide.
